Melissa Suzanne George, an Australia-born actress, and businessperson who also is an inventor and model. After starting her career in her home country, she eventually made her way to Hollywood and has found significant success at the top of her game. George George was born in Perth but was at first attracted to skating, dancing and various other artsy pursuits. When she was in her teens, she began modeling and in 1992 won Western Australia's Teenage Model. Her screen debut was in the episode of the Seven Networks' soap-opera Home and Away the following year. She made her film debut in Dark City. Later, she was cast in minor roles like Alias The Limey in Down with Love. In the end In The Amityville Horror 2005 remake she became the first female protagonist in a Hollywood popular production. At present, she's among the most-wanted Australian ex-pats working in American entertainment. George, as an entrepreneur, has launched her own products Style Snaps on the market.
